Benefits of my MBTI workshop:
-
I
don't believe in wasting time with a lot of frivolous
exercises to demonstrate trivial points. I can
condense a full day of training into a more intensive
4-hour session.
-
My
science background allows me to answer questions by
going into greater depth regarding MBTI theory, how the
assessment is constructed, and how the data from the
assessment can be used.
-
My
workshop is designed to concentrate on using the MBTI
for communication enhancement and conflict resolution.
I provide individualized follow-up to ensure a
transition to using MBTI principles during team
interactions.
-
The
Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI) is the most widely
used instrument in the world – with over 2 million
assessment evaluations given each year. It is used for
gaining a deeper understanding of the mental processes
and patterns people engage based on the theories of Carl
G. Jung. You can use the MBTI to understand your own
communication strengths and weaknesses as well as how to
communicate more effectively while resolving conflicts.
It provides insights into the patterns of different
leadership and team-building productivity styles.
This
workshop covers 5 key points:
-
The
historical theoretical background of the MBTI and the
basic principles behind its modern day construction will
be covered.
-
Everyone will determine their own MBTI type and learn a
simple algorithm for calculating the different dominant
mental processes of all the 16 MBTI types.
-
Each person will learn their communication strengths for
building trust and rapport and also be able to recognize
and improve their weaknesses or barriers to effective
communication.
-
Information will be covered regarding how different
types respond to stress, called "in the grip of the
inferior function", and provide insight about how to
take quick action to dissipate the stress or ensure a
minimum of erroneous results due to stress.
-
Everyone will learn a model for working through and
resolving conflict while practicing how to communicate
and influence each type to actively participate toward
conflict resolution.
